2. The Services

VinCheck provides users with vehicle history reports compiled from various third-party databases. By entering a vehicle registration mark (VRM) or Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), you can generate a report detailing the history of the queried vehicle.

Our Services are available to both individual consumers (B2C) and commercial/business users (B2B), such as vehicle dealerships.

3. Orders, Pricing, and Vouchers

3.1 Guest Checkout: You are not required to create an account to purchase a report. Users may check out as a guest.

3.2 Payment Methods: We offer two ways to pay for our Services:

• Pay-per-report: A one-off payment for a single vehicle history report.
• Voucher Bundles: You may purchase bundles of prepaid vouchers/credits.

3.3 Voucher Terms:

• To receive your voucher codes, you must provide a valid email address during checkout.
• Vouchers are valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase. Any vouchers not used within this 12-month period will expire automatically and are non-refundable.

4. Delivery of Digital Content and Right to Cancel

4.1 Immediate Delivery Waiver: The vehicle history reports provided by VinCheck are digital content. Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, consumers usually have a 14-day right to change their mind. However, by requesting a report, you consent to the immediate generation and delivery of this digital content and acknowledge that you waive your 14-day right to cancel or request a refund once the report has been generated.

4.2 "Empty Report" Refund Policy: As an exception to the above, if our system is entirely unable to retrieve any data for the VRM or VIN you entered, resulting in a completely empty report, we will issue a full refund for that specific search or return the used voucher to your bundle.

5. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Activities

You may use VinCheck for personal or commercial purposes (such as running bulk checks for a dealership). However, the way you access our Website is strictly regulated.

You are strictly prohibited from:

• Data Scraping & Automation: Using any automated means, including robots, spiders, scrapers, crawlers, or data-mining extraction tools to access, collect, or copy data from the Website.
• Reverse Engineering: Attempting to reverse compile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise reduce to human-perceivable form any or all parts of the Website or its underlying software.
• System Abuse: Bypassing or attempting to bypass any security measures, rate limits, or access controls implemented on the Website.

Any violation of these prohibited activities will result in an immediate ban from the Website and may result in legal action.
